The human body isn’t necessarily designed to do what elite athletes do - which is why the greats in any sport are so amazing to watch. We put our bodies on the line every single day to get incrementally better, and that’s sometimes a tough pill to swallow. Nursing an injury doesn’t make matters any easier. After my first competitive season with the Cal Men’s Gymnastics Team, I was scheduled for my first shoulder surgery. Anyone who’s had a shoulder repaired knows the recovery is not fun, and is long - especially when a full recovery entails performing movements the human body might find questionable (ie one of the most common swinging elements on the rings is called a DISLOCATE!). Through lots of discipline and a great team, I did make a full recovery, and went on to win a national championship. I was never “supposed” to win that national title. This is true on many levels.
The theme here is that great athletes (and great real estate brokers) are constantly tested and push the boundaries of what seems possible. It’s those special few that do more than what others think is enough. It used to be “impossible” to run a sub 5-minute mile, now it’s commonplace among elite runners. Once someone breaks the mold, others follow suit. Put me to the test and watch me break the mold. I’d love to be part of your real estate journey in 2023 and beyond. If you want to see something get done, all you have to do is tell me it’s impossible.
